Putting Students First, Protecting Parental Rights, and Restoring Community Trust 

Lee County schools are at a crossroads. As a lifelong resident, graduate of our public schools, and father of six, I know the challenges families, teachers, and students face every day. I have seen the promise of our classrooms, but I have also seen the failures that come from misplaced priorities and a lack of accountability. Our children deserve nothing less than the best. Together, we will build a school system that prepares every child for success in college, in a career, and in life.

Meet Tony Beougher

Tony Beougher is a lifelong resident of Lee County, a proud graduate of Fort Myers High School, and a devoted husband and father of six. With children currently attending our schools and two who recently graduated from North Fort Myers High, Tony has seen both the promise of Lee County’s classrooms and the serious challenges that threaten the future of our students. 

A man grounded in faith and committed to service, Tony has spent years mentoring youth, supporting families in crisis, and serving in leadership roles within his church. He and his wife have opened their home as foster parents, providing children in need with a safe and loving environment. These experiences have given Tony a deep understanding of the struggles faced by the most vulnerable in our community. He has dedicated his life to instilling the values of faith, responsibility, and hard work in the next generation, and those same values will guide his decisions on the School Board. 

In his professional life, Tony built a successful career in business management, where results matter and accountability is essential. He knows how to balance budgets, eliminate waste, and deliver meaningful outcomes. That same commonsense approach is needed in our schools to ensure resources go directly to the classroom and taxpayer dollars are spent wisely. 

Tony is running for the School Board to make sure every child in Lee County receives a quality education that prepares them for success in life. He will fight to return our schools to the fundamentals, restore trust, and give parents the respect they deserve. His mission is clear: put students first, protect parental rights, and deliver strong conservative leadership for Lee County schools.
